• The difference between embedding and linking is that embedding will increase the files size
• when using InDesign all your files must trabel togeather
• where as when using microsoft they are all compresed so you will not loose your photos

Transitions for Film making

1) Identify and describe the different types of transitions used in film/videomaking.

• Cut: This is when the scene stops and flahses to the next one right away.
• Dissolve: The scene disolves into the next one slowy
• Fade: This is when it may fade into a black image when the film is done, or a new image.
  

2)What questions should you ask yourself before you place a transition in your film/video?

You should ask yourself if it is really needed and if it will make sense or actaully help you film look better and make it look more succesful. If it doesnt do anything for the film and that particular area it is proably not needed or you should find a different transition to use.

3) How might you use these transitions in your particular animation?

I can use these transitions if i wanted to cut from one scene to another, or if i wanted to cut from one characters close up to anothers. Another Transition i could use would be the fade when ending the film.

IPOD

Reflection For Ipod Classic Cover

1. Start off with putting all of the assets for the ipod into one folder, by duplicating it and naming it reflection.
2. Edit fill white to bring back the white background on the whole canvas
3. edit free tansform ctrl + T= transform
4. hold shift and Move it down: position so it is sitting right underneath the original ipod, so like a shadow would and deselect
5. Make a mask on that group, and click the gradient tool
6. click and drag it in a stright line going up and down.
